Journal 018
2018.
The morning of New Years Day, my back tire blew out and I spun out on a highway ramp.
The cliff rail stopped me from going off of it backwards.
I took a second after the accident to myself and it’s kinda put me in a different space for 2018.
Nothing is promised and you can be here today, gone tomorrow.
We take a lot of things for granted, and things like this remind you of how fragile everything really is.
Along with the cliché “tell people you care about that you love them”, stop delaying the things you wanna do and the changes you wanna make. You might not have the opportunity to. What I was thinking about even more, is how people who were on their way to greatness were stopped short, so I feel like I owe it to them as well as myself to take life seriously and cherish all the little stuff that we jump over and forget about everyday.
